Our Story
I raised four boys on home cooked meals, a whole lot of love, and faith that God would always provide.
Like most boys, mine were always hungry and always asking for beef jerky. So as a stay-at-home mom, I figured it out. With good meat, simple ingredients, and plenty of prayer, I started making it myself.
What started as a way to stretch a budget became something I poured my whole heart into. On summer trips into the woods, the jerky became a big hit. Their friends loved it. Family couldn't get enough of it. My dehydrator ran nonstop and I didn't mind one bit.
The same thing kept coming up again and again:
"This is so good. You need to sell this."
Back then, my focus was simple - take care of my family and make them feel special. Selling jerky was never the plan. Being a mama was.
But God has a way of taking the things you do out of love and turning them into something bigger than you imagined.
Years passed. The boys grew up. The family got bigger. And then my grandchildren started saying the same thing my boys once did - and that's what finally pushed me to take this step.
Holy Cow Jerky was born out of decades of love, resourcefulness, and a whole lot of hungry people who wouldn't let me keep this to myself.
Every bag is made with the same care and intention that started in my kitchen all those years ago. Real meat. Simple ingredients. Made to comfort you and keep you reaching back into the bag until it's gone.
I want folks to eat this jerky and feel something - a sense of warmth, of home, of something made by someone who actually cares.
That's what Holy Cow Jerky is. That's what it's always been.
